Derek DeCosty-Forward Derek Has signed for the Flames for his fifth season with them. Derek DeCosty is one of the Flames' most consistent players, he is always on the score sheet in whatever the circumstances, in the last 27 games he only missed out on a point in 2 of those games. He was the leagues leading hat-trick man with 6 hat-tricks and the Flames' leading goal-scorer with 69 goals from 67 games!!
Jason Jennings-Forward
Jason joined the Flames as a replacement for the injured Crombie, and slotted straight into the first line with Biette and DeCosty, his start was quite slow as he had not been playing prior to signing for the Flames, but his speed and shot power made him a big hit with the fans and in the playoffs he was awesome, scoring 21 points from just 10 games. Nicky Chinn-Forward
Nicky Chinn joined the Flames half way through last season from London after four and a half years in the ISL as an extra British player, he was and instant hit with the fans for his powerful and acurate wrist and slap-shots, his punishing hits and his all round game, sometimes a bit too layed back though, but he is definately worth whatever he gets paid!! Rob Lamey-Forward
Rob Lamey started his career in the Flames first team at just 16, he has worked hard and never gives up. He is on a third line with Ricky Plant and Tony Redmond*(likely). He has already passed the 250 games mark for the Flames and still has a long career ahead of him. Ricky Plant-Forward
Ricky is a hard working youngster with a lot of strength and ability, last year it took him a while to get off the mark but he was a valuable player. He is in his second spell with the Flames after joining from Swindon at the same time as his brother Russ, both went back to play for Telford for a year befre they both returned in 1999, Russ was released during that season but Ricky is still with us. John Haig-Forward
John Haig signed for Flames in the off season of 99/00, he is 1 half of the gruesome twosome with David Smith whosigne at the same time, this scottish forward has a lot of speed and talent and is always welcome on the team. David Smith-Forward
Davie Smith is the second part of the gruesome twosome. He is a small and fast winger,he loves a big game and will usually fire one in when he's needed. His hat-trick on the first FBNL game of the season showed just this. Kent Nobes-Forward
A new face and a new Name, but will it be a new fans favourite? Kent has signed for the Flames after 3 years at Brock University of the CIAU, he joins Flames for his first season as a pro. He is likely to be one of Flames' best players this year so he is very welcome! Tony Redmond-Forward
Tony has signed from local rivals Basingstoke and is looking to help the younger players develop rather like the role that Ryan Campbell played last year. Tony has been at Basingstoke since 1992 only taking 1 year out to play for Slough.
